LTTA+TPM | 14-16 July, Athens

In July, Athens and IDEC Partner hosted the inaugural transnational project meeting (TPM) and the Learning Teaching Training Activity (LTTA) for Block.Ed!

The events brought together educators and project managers of the Partnerships.

Overview of the Learning Teaching Training Activity

The LTTA spanned the first two days 14-15.07 and focused on critical outputs that will shape the future of the Block.Ed project. Participants dove into the project’s learning management system (LMS), which is designed to house a comprehensive range of e-learning courses on how to design a microcredential for whom wants to become a skilled facilitator.

Key Outputs

  1. Overview of the LMS: Attendees received an in-depth overview of the LMS, showcasing the diverse e-learning courses available. This will provide educators and all adult trainers with the tools they need to efficiently integrate microcredentials in educational offerings.
  2. Practical Exercises on Microcredentials: The LTTA also included hands-on sessions with the expert partner AZULchain, focused on the development and implementation of microcredentials, through their web platform: MICOO. Participants were engaged in practical exercises designed to enhance their understanding of how microcredentials can be integrated into existing curricula, offering learners greater flexibility and recognition for their skills.

Transnational Project Meeting

The third day, 16.07, saw the development of the TPM, where project partners convened to discuss updates regarding the status of the Block.Ed project. This meeting served as a platform for sharing insights, challenges, and successes encountered since the project’s inception.

Agenda Highlights

  • Project Updates: Each partner organization provided updates on their contributions, including the relative reached KPI and next steps
  • Discussion of Results: The meeting approached the relative results achieved thus far, allowing participants to assess the impact of their work and strategize for the next phases of the project.
  • Project outcomes were finalized and approved by the consortium:
  • Guide for designing microcredentials (available soon in the website)
  • Validation framework for microcredentials, (available soon in the website)
  • Glossary of the project (Have a look here)
